Thank you to all the parents and students who attended conferences this week.  Teamwork between the teachers, students, and parents is what makes a successful Intermediate student!

We will be viewing the play Peter and the Starcatcher at Dominican High School on  November 3.  Students will need to pack a bag lunch.

I heard from a couple of parents that they were having trouble finding actual grades for their child.
They were able to find the assignments, but not the actual class grade.

If you go to your child’s page in OPTION C, and look in the upper left-hand corner for STUDENT.
Click on that and you we see the drop-down menu for classes.  Click on classes and you will be able to see how your son or daughter is doing in all of their classes.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions contact Mr. Bradford.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

4A Mr. Bradford

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me this past week. I will continue to catch up with everyone.  I have found this to be a great opportunity to hear and learn about your child.   Please let me know if there is a good or better time to call in the evening.

Social Studies

This coming week the children will be doing some expository writing from their notes they took on the early Indian groups in Wisconsin. On Wednesday, we started a sample piece which we did together. On Monday, we will finish the sample, and then they will write on one other group of their own choice. There will not be a formal test on this material.  The expository piece will serve as an assessment of this chapter.

We continue in Chapter 3.  We will practice single digit by larger number multiplication.  We will then move into double digit by double digit multiplication.
